Intra oral cameras
Our surgeries are equipped with minute intra oral colour
cameras.
A special handpiece contains the lens
system and
a light source.
We can now examine your mouth under extreme magnification
while you watch on the viewing screen. The pictures are
displayed on a flat TV screen so that both the patient
and the dentist can take part in the examination.
The pictures can be frozen on the screen and any treatment
required can be discussed.
Treatment options can then be discussed and agreed
to resolve the problem.
Joint diagnosis creates an environment of self empowerment
allowing you the patient to share in the decision making
on how we look after and care for your mouth.
New sterilisation equipment
A new state of the art digital autoclave has been commissioned to sterilise instruments.
This machine complies with all the latest guidelines on cross infection control keeping the Practice at the forefront in technologt ensuring your continued safety.
A digital washer disinfector has also been commissioned to ensure full compliance with current best practice techniques in cross infection control.
Digital X-Rays
We now have digitally scanned radiographic system installed
in the Practice
This is quicker to use and gives a greatly reduced
x ray dose to you the patient.
We can also print copies of your x-rays for you to
take away if you wish.
DVD Patient Education
 We have lots of information on different types of treatment
available for you to look at in the Practice.
Technology has advanced considerably over the past
five years allowing us to improve the dental care you
receive from us.
We can create aesthetic and comfortable solutions to
